The story begins when Azuma Shuri, a young man with an ambition to be a chef, trips into another world. Akari is picked up by Gungrave, the leader of a mercenary group. Shuri joins the group as an odd job and gradually increases his own value by demonstrating his cooking skills. Each leader of the mercenary group is a quirky character, but Shuri connects with them through his cooking. By improving his skills, Shuri becomes an essential member of the group.
