Kuroiwa Medaka was born in a temple and is a monk in training. Due to his temple's rules, he can't interact with girls, and doesn't know how to socialize with them normally. Mona, the school's 'queen bee', tries to make him fall in love with her, but he ignores her to maintain the temple's rules.
