Akechi Ran, an office lady in her 30s who had always dreamed of an engagement ring and a wonderful marriage, lost both her dreams and her man after her fiancé betrayed her. While drinking and complaining with her best friends, Homura and Kei, with whom she spent her youth on the softball team in their all-girls school days, they are shocked by the reality that 10 years have passed since graduating high school and none of their dreams have come true. They then find out that Homura only has one year left to live. To make Homura's dream come true, the three of them band together, live together, quit their jobs, and open a detective agency in Asakusa. She's lost her job, her man, and her dreams, but she has two best friends! Will they be able to turn their lives around?
